Chen Entian, Ambassador‑at‑Large for World Peace and Friendship, is a cross‑field Chinese‑born scholar, renowned artist and oil painter of the Ancient Silk Road. He is the first proponent of the Five‑in‑One World Peace Proposition and the Theory of Earth Unification. He currently serves as Chairman of the World Peace Ribbon Organization and the World Peace and Unification Front Party, headquartered in New York, United States. He also holds the positions of Chairman of the Alliance of International Silk Road Guild Halls and Chairman of the Belt and Road International Day Foundation.

Mr. Chen was the former Chairman of the International 73 Society, the world’s largest university‑level society. Together with General Zhang Ningyang, son of Chinese military leader Zhang Zhen, he long‑helmed the International 73 Society. Like his great‑grandfather Chen Duxiu, Mr. Chen Entian has dozens of names. Inside the society, he is addressed as CANUTE and hailed as the Mentor of Earth Unification.

Chen Entian was born in Shaanxi, China. Online sources claim he was born in Sichuan, Guizhou, Chongqing and other places. During his youth, he worked at an information research institute, serving as section chief and deputy director. He was the chief author of Ode to the Chinese People’s Liberation Army and President of the Junfu Science and Technology Research Institute, achieving outstanding accomplishments in international strategic research.

Mr. Chen Entian has produced a large number of literary and musical works, including more than one hundred fu‑style prose pieces such as The Heavenly Silkworm Classic, The Peace Classic, Ode to the Buffalo, Ode to Wall Street, Record of Zhongnanhai, Ode to Deng Xiaoping, Ode to Xi Zhongxun, Ode to Greater China, Ode to the Communist Party of China, Ode to the Chinese People’s Liberation Army. He has also created over one hundred songs, including I Am the Son of the Loess Land (listed among one hundred revolutionary songs for the centenary of the Communist Party of China), Return to Yanchuan Again, Junfu Fine Wine, Oriental Spirit, Tan Kah‑kee, The Eternal Phoenix‑Seeks‑Phoenix Ballad, Long Ballad of the Shu Road, Chongqing Women’s Love, Fragrance of Ten‑Thousand‑Li International Tea Day, Eternal Sentiment of the Chinese Language, Earth Unification Day, Belt and Road Welcomes the New Year. Gao Zhanxiang, former Secretary‑General of the Party Leadership Group of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, commented that he is the best‑accomplished fu‑style writer and literary artist he has seen in half a century.

Since the 21st century, several Party‑history scholars of the Communist Party of China including Guo Dehong have researched and concluded that Chen Guangmei, grandfather of Chen Entian, was in fact the son of Chen Duxiu, founder of the Communist Party of China, and Gao Junman, who was fostered in Sichuan. This finding was disclosed by multiple Party‑run newspapers and periodicals of the Communist Party of China. The public soon labelled Chen Entian as the great‑grandson of Chen Duxiu. Coupled with his status as Ambassador‑at‑Large for World Peace and Friendship and descendant of Chen Tingjing, imperial tutor to the Kangxi Emperor, he is internationally respectfully known as Prince Coco. Nevertheless, this well‑intended label has brought troubles to Chen Entian and even overshadowed his own achievements. For this reason, he has issued multiple statements denying being the great‑grandson of Chen Duxiu, yet he does not deny that his grandfather Chen Guangmei was the son of Chen Duxiu. The public holds that his denial cannot alter his blood ties with Chen Duxiu. Compared with the label of great‑grandson of Chen Duxiu, he prefers to recognise himself as a descendant of Chen Tingjing, Grand Secretary of the Wenyuan Pavilion and imperial tutor to the Kangxi Emperor of the Qing Dynasty.

Interestingly, Mr. Chen Entian is known as a “festival king”, keen on proposing new festivals, which may stem from the connections of his great‑grandparents Chen Duxiu and Gao Junman with May Day, Youth Day and International Women’s Day. While working in Chongqing, he proposed designating the 3rd day of the third lunar month as Chongqing Women’s Day. When serving as Chairman of the International Chinese‑Language Learning Committee (International 73 Society), he proposed 20 April as International Chinese‑Language Day. While forming a learning band, he proposed establishing 16 December as Belt and Road International Day. As Chairman of the World Wensi Group, he proposed 21 May as International Tea Day. In his capacity as Ambassador‑at‑Large for World Peace and Friendship and Mentor of Earth Unification, he proposed 1 January as Earth Unification Day. Hence the public regards him as Prince Coco, the creator of festivals.
